Reporting

Although not considered a staff member of the PERMANENT OBSERVER MISSION OF PAN AFRICAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR WATER AND SANITATION IN AFRICA, if selected, you will be subject to the authority of the Senior Adviser and the authority delegated by him/her to the PERMANENT OBSERVER.

You will not be eligible to privileges and immunities accorded by member states to the PERMANENT OBSERVER MISSION OF PAN AFRICAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR WATER AND SANITATION IN AFRICA, its officials, and staff members.

Financial Support

This is an unpaid internship; hence, you are advised to make your own financial arrangements to cover your living expenses.

Additionally, you (or your sponsoring institution), will be responsible for travel costs to and from the duty station and accommodation.

Health Insurance Coverage

You are required to have adequate medical insurance before the start of the internship. The PERMANENT OBSERVER MISSION OF PAN AFRICAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR WATER AND SANITATION IN AFRICA will not be responsible for any costs or fatalities arising from illness or accidents incurred during the internship.

Visa Status

The PERMANENT OBSERVER MISSION OF PAN AFRICAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR WATER AND SANITATION IN AFRICA does not sponsor visas for internships. You must ensure that you have a valid passport and visa, and/or valid passport and applicable work authorization.

Confidentiality and Discretion

If selected, you will be required to exercise utmost discretion and confidentiality on information that you will collect or exposed to at the PERMANENT OBSERVER MISSION OF PAN AFRICAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR WATER AND SANITATION IN AFRICA. No reports or papers may be published based on information obtained from the PERMANENT OBSERVER MISSION OF PAN AFRICAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR WATER AND SANITATION IN AFRICA without explicit written authorization of the Senior Adviser of the Observer Mission
